Consultant Rheumatologist

Dr Armi Salonga, FRACP, is a specialist Rheumatologist and General Medicine physician and member of the Association of Women in Rheumatology. She completed her medical degree at St. Luke’s College of Medicine in the Philippines and undertook post-graduate training at St. Vincent’s Medical Centre in Connecticut, USA, before completing specialist training at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Gold Coast University Hospital, and Greenslopes Private Hospital across Queensland. Her areas of clinical interest are inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue disorders, and gout.

Consultant Rheumatologist

Dr Hyunjun (Jon) Kim is a visiting consultant rheumatologist. He holds FRACP fellowship through the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and his MBBS from the University of Queensland, completing specialist training across Queensland’s major public hospitals. He consults at our Toowoomba clinic on a fortnightly basis, every second Friday.

GETTING STARTED
A GP referral is required to see a rheumatology specialist. Here’s how the process works:

Discuss your symptoms with your General Practitioner. If a rheumatology referral is appropriate, your GP will prepare one for you.

Ask your GP to send a referral to our clinic, citing the doctor’s provider number and your preferred clinic location (Toowoomba or Pimpama).

Our friendly reception team will call you to arrange a suitable appointment time at your preferred location.
4
Attend your appointment for a thorough rheumatological assessment and begin your personalised treatment journey.
GPs can refer via Medical Objects (preferred) or fax for the numbers below, with the preferred doctor's provider number and the patient's preferred clinic.
Send referrals via fax to
If you're experiencing joint pain, swelling, or other rheumatic symptoms, speak to your GP. They can assess whether a referral to our clinic is appropriate.
We're happy to receive referrals via Medical Objects. Alternatively, fax or email your referral to the relevant clinic, citing the preferred doctor's provider number so our reception team can contact the patient to arrange an appointment.
